Short bio<\/strong><\/p>\n

I am a Professor at the Dipartimento di Ingegneria dell’Informazione. My research activity concerns network measurements, and pervasive\/mobile computing. My research interests also include bioinformatics. I am\/have been an associate researcher of the Institute of Informatics and Telematics of CNR (IIT-CNR<\/a>), member of the Pervasive and Computing and Networking Laboratory (PerLab<\/a>), and of the BioAlgo<\/a> group.<\/p>\n

I am the vice president of the Computer Engineering (BSc<\/a>, MSc<\/a>), and Artificial Intelligence and Data Engineering (MSc<\/a>) programs.<\/p>\n

I am currently serving on the editorial board of Pervasive and Mobile Computing Journal<\/a> (Elsevier). In the past (2017-2024) I served as an associate editor of Access<\/a> (IEEE). I was guest editor of two journal special issues on mobile and pervasive computing. I served on the organizing and technical program committee of several international conferences, and I co-founded the IEEE PerMoby Workshop.<\/p>\n
